More Than a Meal.

Food on the river should match the experience—not interrupt it.

Every trip includes thoughtfully prepared meals built around quality ingredients and simple, well executed cooking. Whether it’s a midday lunch on a quiet stretch of river or a full dinner under open sky on a camp trip, the goal is the same: keep it honest, keep it satisfying, and keep it memorable.

Menus are seasonally influenced and intentionally flexible. Fresh proteins, local ingredients when possible, and meals that feel earned after a day on the water.

No shortcuts. No pretense. Just good food in the right place.

Culinary Background

Before guiding fulltime, I spent years refining not just how I fish but how I host.

Cooking has always been part of the experience for me. Over time, that’s evolved into building menus that hold up in a river setting without sacrificing quality. It’s about understanding what works outdoors, what travels well, and what actually makes people stop and appreciate the moment.

The result is a balance between practical and elevated meals that feel intentional. Food that is right for the season, my guests, and the day.

On the menu

Expect things like:

  • Grilled proteins finished over open flame

  • Fresh, seasonal sides that hold up outdoors

  • Riverside lunches that go beyond the standard sandwich

  • Family style camp meals designed to bring everyone together at the end of the day

Every detail is considered so the food feels like part of the trip not an afterthought.

Any dietary restrictions will be taken seriously and applied to the menu.
